The Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested a 26-year-old Tulsa woman in a crash that killed a pedestrian on westbound Interstate 44 near Elwood Avenue.
The collision occurred the evening of Sept. 10, between 7 and 8:30 p.m. on westbound I-44 near the river bridge, News On 6 reported Sept. 14. OHP identified the suspect but has not publicly confirmed the specific charges she faces.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed the identity of the deceased man as Joshua Holahta, 40.
No attorney or public statement on behalf of the suspect has been identified.
The arrest follows a public appeal OHP issued after the crash. Troopers asked anyone who witnessed the collision or had dash-camera or other video footage from the area to contact them at 918-627-0440, according to KTUL.
