Six men from Texas face federal charges after allegedly kicking in the door of a Broken Arrow home, pistol-whipping a resident and stealing 70 pounds of marijuana in July 2025.

A federal grand jury indicted all six on conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act robbery, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Oklahoma, which announced the charges Aug. 27. All six have been detained for trial.

The defendants are Jabriel Williams, 33; Darius Devvoin Hinton, 28; Blake Alexander Calvillo, 25; Nathan Haywood Strong, 36; and Remond Reeshon Williams, 39, all of Dallas; and Jeremy Romel Conner, 44, of Athens, Texas.

What prosecutors allege

The robbery happened shortly after 4 a.m. at a Broken Arrow residence in July 2025, prosecutors said during detention hearings. Some defendants allegedly wore masks and announced themselves as "Police!" before forcing open the front door. They brandished a firearm and pistol-whipped an occupant, according to court documents.

The group then allegedly fled with roughly 70 pounds of illegal marijuana. Co-conspirators drove them from the scene, prosecutors said.

Part of the incident was captured on the home's security camera system.

Additional charges

All six face the conspiracy count. Hinton, Calvillo, Conner and Strong are additionally charged with Hobbs Act robbery, which requires proof the offense affected interstate commerce.

Hinton, Conner and Strong face a separate charge of carrying, using and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence. Conner alone is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Each charge is an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. No attorney information for the defendants was available in the announcement.

Investigation and prosecution

The FBI and the Broken Arrow Police Department led the investigation, with assistance from Dallas and Oklahoma City police departments. Assistant U.S. Attorneys John W. Dowdell and John Brasher are prosecuting the case under the Department of Justice's Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) initiative, which coordinates federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement to address violent crime.
