Broken Arrow's Lady Tigers softball team shut out Sand Springs 10-0 on Monday, Sept. 14. The team now holds the No. 1 national ranking.

The road win against the Sandites was the latest in a string of dominant performances for a program that Broken Arrow Athletics has called three-time consecutive national champions. Senior captains from the Class of 2026 delivered championship rings to the team in July.

FOX23 reported the Lady Tigers remain unbeaten on the season after the shutout. The team had been ranked No. 2 nationally by MaxPreps as recently as Thursday, Sept. 10, according to the Broken Arrow Athletics account on X. By Monday's game, the Lady Tigers had moved into the top spot.

The rise has been building all fall. Broken Arrow opened the 2026 season with two wins in early August and has not lost since. The Lady Tigers beat Noble 7-2 and blanked Edmond Memorial 12-0 in a doubleheader on Aug. 14. They topped Yukon 8-1 on the road and shut out Sapulpa 5-0 before heading to the Top Gun Invitational in Kansas City, Missouri.

At that tournament, pitchers Beach and Kinslee Cottner combined for a perfect game against Beatrice. Beach, Aryanna Ceasar, Hanson and Flusche all homered during the Kansas City trip.

Cottner, a senior pitcher and first baseman, has been a central figure in the run. She threw a 124-pitch complete game in an 11-4 road win over Bartlesville on Sept. 8. Beach hit two home runs in that game, with Blaylock, Smith and Flusche also going deep.

In a Broken Arrow Sports Zone profile published before the season, Cottner laid out the team's ambitions. "I want to win a state championship with my teammates," she said in August. "We have all of the talent and willingness to do it."

The three-time national champions have outscored opponents by wide margins this fall, posting shutouts against Sapulpa, Edmond Memorial, Beatrice and Sand Springs.

Broken Arrow's next scheduled game had not been confirmed as of Tuesday, Sept. 15.
